Tumblr

Sometimes I crave nothing more than creating my own Tumblr account and revelling in the creative freedom that has come to define that popular blogging site:  you can post any dumb crap that comes to your mind, and you suddenly seem very artsy and cool.

The problem with this desire is that I don't exactly understand how Tumblr works (cue the technologically impaired duck), AND you could say that I can technically post any dumb crap that comes to my mind on here.
Oh, Technologically Impaired Duck!
You so silly!

But to that I say:  'lol at the duck', and 'no, I can't just do that on here.  This blog has a theme (i.e. ranting), and who would I be to go back on that theme?  How would my readers respect me after such a blatant change of heart?!'

However, I don't like to rule things out, so I thought I'd do a test run of what some posts on my hypothetical Tumblr would look like:

What I've learnt from this is that my Tumblr -- if I ever made one -- would be almost exactly like updating my Facebook status, in that I would just be posting some random things that I thought of and laughed at.  I'm torn as to whether or not I should create one.  This is pretty much a matter of life and death, and I need answers fast!

Where is a Magic 8 ball when you need it?
